😴 Take a rest day—or five minutes
Hey guys. With a gentle, warm, smile, that’s all for this intro.

😴 Take a rest day—or five minutes
I’m sniffling, I’m sore, and I’m a little underslept. And I’m also traveling again tonight.
Can you relate to any of that? I’ll bet you’ve got your own complaints and ailments right now. Take a moment to notice any pain, discomfort, or stress—physical or otherwise.
I bet there’s some tension somewhere. We’ve all got it. And sometimes, we just need a beat to restore.
So today, take the next five minutes you would’ve spent reading this newsletter and practice some self-care. A few suggestions:
go enjoy a cup of coffee/tea with zero distractions
take a hot bath or cold shower or whatever suits your fancy
gently stretch or massage any tense areas in your body
go on a tech-free stroll around your neighborhood
sit or lie down with your eyes closed and just be with your thoughts, noticing your breathing
call a loved one just to say you love them
Whatever your rest day—or rest five minutes—looks like, may it bring peace and rejuvenation.
I’ll catch ya next time.
*deep inhale through the nose for a count of six*
*pause for two seconds*
*slow exhale for a count of 10*
*pause for two seconds*
Smile and inhale, thinking of something you’re grateful for. 😊
Be well!
Keep moving,
Drew
